• Cinema Stitch Club is a needlepoint movie event where you can stitch, socialize, and enjoy a film in a private theater setting with a like-minded community of stitchers.

  • Not at all! Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been stitching for years or are just curious and want to try something new.

  • Bring your current WIP or a new project, a stitching light if you want one, and your phone for photos (don’t forget to tag us!).

  • Yes! The lights stay on at theater level, dim but bright enough to comfortably stitch throughout the film.

  • Our events take place at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas, Texas. Occasionally, we host special pop-up editions in other locations too.

  • We typically host Cinema Stitch Club events about four times a year, with themed editions around spring, fall, and the holidays. We also occasionally host other special events.

  • Each event varies, but our theater usually seats around 150 to 160 guests. Tickets tend to sell out quickly, so we recommend grabbing yours early.

  • The movie changes each time! We choose films that fit the vibe of the season — something lighthearted, fun, or nostalgic that pairs perfectly with stitching.

  • Tickets are sold online ahead of time and usually sell out before the event, so we recommend purchasing as soon as they’re available.

  • Each ticket includes your movie seat, access to shop our event vendors, and entry into our giveaway prizes.

  • Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, but concessions are open for purchasing popcorn, snacks, candy, wine, and other beverages.ion
